Demonstrations take place on Friday, April 3rd from 8 to 9:30 am. (Formerly Known as Poster Presentations).

In past years, ISHA has allotted time for student researchers and faculty mentors to all take part in a poster session to display their research to convention attendees. We would like to continue this great partnership with student and faculty researchers. New for the 2020 Convention ISHA encourages others who may not be conducting formal research to participate. Examples of a non-research demonstration may include novel therapy ideas, therapeutic strategies, new ways of using AAC, new medical advancements, strategies for inter-professional collaboration, and strategies to engage clients/families/communities. The Demonstration Hour will be held on Friday, April 3rd from 8 to 9:30 am at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Conference Center, 2353 East Perry Road, Plainfield, IN 46168.

Presentations must be 15 minutes in length and will be presented four times during the one hour session. All submissions MUST have a title, 100 word abstract detailing the presentation, a minimum of 3 learner objectives, a bio and a financial disclosure for each author. ASHA requires these items for CEU approval - as poster/demonstration presentations will be offered for CEUs. If you would like a photo to be included, please email your photo to

Please submit all required information via Google Forms - Click Here!

All authors (primary author and co-authors) must register for the convention separately. Listing an author name on the submission does not automatically register them for the convention.

Each selected poster/demonstration requires that at least one author to present your information during the demonstration hour. Each accepted submission will be provided a 6' skirted table, tri-fold poster display board as well as binder clips to place and display your poster/demonstration. Please complete all of the required information in the google form no later than March 15, 2020. Accepted submissions will be contacted once all submissions are reviewed in March.
